Depending on the time of day you are planning to travel, you can choose between the Bavaria Ticket or the Bavaria Night Ticket; you can also decide whether to travel First Class or Second Class. All of the ticket types allow you to be accompanied by four other passengers, with the exception of children: You can take up to 3 of your own or other children aged 6-14 with you for no extra cost. Children under 6 years always travel free of charge. One other adult may travel with you for only 8 euros. You can also take your dog with you on the Bavaria Ticket: Small dogs (up to the size of a domestic cat) can travel for free in a dog carrier. Larger dogs are charged at the adult rate.

The various Bavaria Tickets differ from each other only in terms of their prices and the times when they are valid.
